The Starhill Gallery in Kuala Lumpur will be partly closed for renovation beginning this month, within a slow refresh of this house to change it into a new notion that infuses hospitality to the retail experience. The new development is going to be known as The Starhill when renovations finish in 2021.

The Starhill will likely be a seven-storey integrated improvement comprising four floors of refurbished retail area, while the prior retail flooring on the top 3 levels will likely be converted to three floors of hotel room.

Renovations will observe each the inside common areas completely refreshed, and also a brand new double-volume entry atrium will include a green wall and LED displays showcasing the renters. The façade facing Bukit Bintang will even feature new LED displays along with a café terrace on the ground floor which will face a brand new piazza.

“The Starhill bucks the town’s cookie-cutter mall tendency — moving boutique-size in 300,000 sq feet of retail space to cultivate a much more vibrant retail ambience that’s warm yet unobtrusive, while some others have gone mega having an anodyne spin online purchasing experience,” says Yeoh.
